Sunday reset

Can one day fix all the problems?

Have you been seeing the social media trend of Sunday Resets? Every time I scroll on the internet I see tons of content showing you how to “reset your life” every Sunday.

  • Clean kitchen
  • groceries stocked
  • meal prep for the week
  • laundry done AND put away
  • journal
  • think positive thought
  • have a new mindset for the week And you know there is some merit to choosing one day get your essentials done.

But, I think for a lot of us life is a little too full and has changed too much over the past few years to hold ourselves to an aesthetic schedule.

Caring for family, changing careers, moving to a new town and navigating general burnout can really wreak havoc on your daily schedule never mind trying to carve out an entire day!

When Sunday comes, instead of spending the day striving for a perfect reset, I would invite you see how you can eliminate the large pile up of tasks for next Sunday.

Life is really too nuanced for us to try to keep up with a perfectly curated day of resetting. I really wanted to mention this topic to you because if you are following my work, you are most likely in the midst of some type of transition. I think it would be really unfair if you were adding more fuel to your burn out fire, trying to complete a Sunday reset.
